Kozue is a little girl who loves astronomy, especially the stars. One night, on an outing to witness a meteorite, she meets Ginga, a boy who is capable of helping scientists find out more information about the stars through his mysterious ability. However, he is forced to stay in a protective suit in order to go through his mission. Because of this, Kozue settles to convince Ginga to make his own decisions & to take off the suit using his own will.
